You have plenty of time to tell them when you think the time is right. Deciding when and how to tell your coworkers is a personal decision and should be done on your own timeline. As a reminder, you are not required to tell your boss the reason you are missing work for medically related absences.
Many surrogate mothers wait until a positive pregnancy test or even until the end of the first trimester to make any kind of announcement.
